The several stories of monstrous giant squids have attracted scientists and common man alike. The hovering curiosity has made scientist to find out ways and means, which could help them to know more about these mystifying creatures. Also those Carcasses found offshore have been studied and very well preserved for the people to admire this enormous and most powerful predator.

France’s National Museum of Natural History has a huge squids hanging from the ceiling for the people to view. Likewise Paris’s Museum National d’histoire naturelle has a 21.5 foot plastinated giant squid. All the fluids have been removed from the body and replaced with polymer to prevent the squid for decay. This giant squid is the gift to France by the country of New Zealand.
